The Hobonichi Techo Cousin is Hobonichi’s spacious A5 daily planner, combining daily, weekly and monthly planning in a single book.
This is the 2027 English-language edition with a January 2027 start and Monday-start weekly layouts.
Each day of the year has its own page, using Hobonichi’s versatile 3.7 mm grid. The generous A5 format provides plenty of room for schedules, journaling, work and study notes, creative planning, memory keeping, sketches, photographs and ephemera.
The pages are made from thin, lightweight Tomoe River paper, specially selected for its smooth writing experience and excellent performance with a wide range of pens and inks.
Thread-stitched binding allows the planner to open completely flat at 180 degrees for comfortable writing.

2027 Hobonichi Pen:
The official 2027 pen is a Uni Jetstream three-colour ballpoint pen containing black, red and blue ink with a 0.5 mm tip. Jetstream’s smooth, low-viscosity ink works particularly well with Hobonichi’s Tomoe River paper.
The 2027 edition features a milky purple barrel with a mint green grip and is printed with “HOBONICHI TECHO 2027”.
2027 Plain Old Acorn Charm:
Created especially for the 2027 Hobonichi collection, the gold-coloured acorn charm represents the year’s “LIFE GROWS” theme.
The approximately 3 cm acorn includes a removable ball chain, allowing it to be attached to a Hobonichi cover, bag or other suitable accessory.
An ideal set for established Hobonichi users, collectors or anyone beginning their first Hobonichi for 2027.
